Hello all! Yes, I know its been awhile since I last posted. Maybe I was hit with the bloggers block? Who knows but this morning I am armed with a fresh cup of coffee and some time on my hands. Lets see, last month I turned the big five 0 as they say. Yeah, that was fun... I think the thing that really got me through that morning was Isaac telling me I was old. Refer to Shea's blog about their trip to Boise! He made me laugh so hard! Out of the mouths of babes. My birthday turned out to be a great day, even though the weather didn't cooperate with us. We ended up having a small party with family and a few friends. It was a nice way to celebrate and we all had a great time. Shea and Tony brought up Rock Band and Doug finally broke out of his shell and sang!!!! I was really shocked that he did. Could it of been the Coronas??Hmmm..I wonder. So, I have been 50 for almost a month now, and the world didn't end, my hair didn't fall out, nor did I feel any older. As Shea told me, 50 is the new 30, so Oprah says. Who am I to argue with Oprah? Two weeks after the kids were up here , we went to Utah to celebrate Taylor and Isaac's birthday. The big 4! I can't believe they are now 4 years old and will be starting pre-school in the fall. There is no better measure of time then watching kids and grandkids grow. We had such a great time while we were there. The boys were so excited to help set up their pirate party and to be a part of all the action. Scott's girlfriend Britney drove down to Utah also to help celebrate. It was the first time that she met Shea, Tony and the boys. I have to say, she fit right in and had a blast playing with them and then kicking our butts in Rock band that night! Way to go Britney! Isaac and Taylor warmed up to her after a few minutes. Later that day Isaac came up to me and said "Grandma, I love Bri-t-an-y!" It was to cute! We are all happy for Scott and Britney as this seems to be the real deal. Last night I met some of Dougs friends from Calif. They are up here getting ready to move her folks down to be closer to them. I have heard stories about these people for almost 5 years now, so it was nice to finally meet them. We met at a really nice sports bar not to far from our house. We had such a great time talking and it was fun to listen to stories of Doug and Mark from high school. I have to admit that I was very nervous about meeting them at first. Marrying their good friend of all those years and not knowing what they would think of me. I think it went great and my nerves went out the window after the first five minutes after they sat down.
After a lousy spring here in Boise, I think summer may be here for good. We really have no big vacation plans this summer as Doug is involved with the big remodel at his store. He is in charge of the Apparel division move and this requires him to be there ALOT! I am hoping to spend a week at some point in Utah with the kids..{ did you tell Tony that Shea?} hahaha...Weekend visits are nice but time constraints are always a problem. I just need some mom-daughter time! And some good quality Taylor, Isaac time! Well, I think I have RAMBLED on long enough. Til next time! Take care everyone!

Yes, she told me that. You know that you are always welcome, no matter how sarcastic I may be towards you.
Nice recap blog. I would like to suggest, however, that you space your thoughts out into paragraphs. It makes it easier to follow and to read.
What comment would be complete without letting you know YET AGAIN that a lot is TWO WORDS!!!
